Purpose
Our goal is simple: to enable people to communicate better. To be both ...
- Efficient - To communicate in the best possible manner, with the least waste of time, effort and resources.
- Effective - To produce the intended or expected business or communications outcome by ensuring messages are delivered and understood by key audiences or stakeholders.
In engaging and provocative workshops, we teach people to be:
- Concise - Less is more, simplicity instead of complexity.
- Prioritised - Organised, thoughtful and insightful, a sound argument.
- Dynamic - Two-way, questioning and listening, generating a commitment through communications.
Our workshops focus on either the individual, or the team, or both together:
- For individuals - To learn new skills. To increase knowledge. To balance life and work.
- For teams - To understand the team's purpose, its roles. To improve problem-solving. To brainstorm better. To resolve conflict. To learn about each other.
In addition to leading research and knowledge about how individuals and teams perform best, our workshops often use Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, Team Management Systems® or Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument as a basis for discussion and exercises.
At the same time, our workshops are based on the type of communications to be performed. Does the speaker need to be credibly proactive, or constructively reactive?
- Proactive - To be on the front foot. To take the initiative. To get the idea in front of the people who make key decisions. To deliver key messages to important stakeholders. To change opinions, attitudes and behaviours.
- Reactive - To protect one's assets and interests. To be smart and insightful about potential threats. To consider potential plans of action. To sort, organise and prioritise a negotiation. To take (or regain) control during a crisis.
